This happened this morning in my backyard.<\/p>\n

I also saw this:<\/p>\n

I thought it was an eagle, which would’ve been pretty cool, and trekked outside with camera in hand through grass dripping with dew and found the best angle I could achieve without crawling into the lake.<\/p>\n

Of course, he didn’t stay forever.<\/p>\n

Now, if I’d had a telephoto lens, I might’ve gotten some other, closer shots, but I’m pleased with the few I did capture. And I’m pleased with the way I’ve processed them. (Most of them, I should say; one or two were primarily to aid with identification.)<\/p>\n

Normal days, I see sparrows, finches, mourning doves, crows, chickadees, sometimes a hawk, and once or twice an owl.<\/p>\n

Apparently, I see birds.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
