It’s a co-worker’s house.\u00c2\u00a0 The tree destroyed it.\u00c2\u00a0 About a dozen of us joined her and her family tonight in packing what could be salvaged and moving it into a POD temporarily.\u00c2\u00a0 At this point, she doesn’t know what’s going to happen; she’s waiting on word from the insurance company.<\/p>\n
It was hard work.\u00c2\u00a0 We had to get things out before the storms came.\u00c2\u00a0 And storms did come, though not over her home: whilst I was helping here, a tornado (or not a tornado, depending on who you talk to) tore through my neighborhood.\u00c2\u00a0 I didn’t know until I reached all the swirling police lights.\u00c2\u00a0 It apparently put a tree through someone’s home.\u00c2\u00a0 It did not come far enough down the road to reach me.<\/p>\n
