I’ve been feeling musical lately. I want to learn piano. I want to learn violin. I dreamt about picking a set of drumsticks.<\/p>\n

Thus far, the only thing I play with any talent is the CD player and the iPod.<\/p>\n

On another note: I bought a CD at Sam Goody today.\u00c2\u00a0 They asked if I wanted the protection plan.\u00c2\u00a0 No.\u00c2\u00a0 How about a membership in our Sam Goody club?\u00c2\u00a0 No.\u00c2\u00a0 Perhaps we can offer you a free 3-month subscription to one of these lovely magazines.\u00c2\u00a0 (This, complete with hand sweeping a la a game show hostess.)\u00c2\u00a0 Um…still no.\u00c2\u00a0 Why can’t I just buy the damn CD?\u00c2\u00a0 Sam Goody, and other retailers, take note: This is the behavior you require in your store clerks that will insure I won’t return.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
