A few updates:<\/p>\n
The 365 Days of Color continue without issue, and though I’ll admit some of the photos have been rather uninspired, I’m liking a few of them quite a lot.<\/p>\n
DarkWalker<\/em> debuts later this year from EvilEye Books.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m already working on the second book.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s gonna be fun!\u00c2\u00a0 In the first, you’ll see vampires, ghosts, zombies, were-creatures, demons, rats, spiders, flies, frogs, Lovecraftian things, and a rockstar.\u00c2\u00a0 It’ll be great!<\/p>\n I have a few short stories coming out in a few places later, but scant information as yet.<\/p>\n I have submissions going out to all sorts of places.<\/p>\n I make just enough to not meet my bills at my day job, so I’ve been slowly sinking–which is a great improvement over the previous day job, where I was quickly sinking due to changes in the economic environment.\u00c2\u00a0 A few photo and story sales, and the selling of some things (mainly books) that I didn’t really want to sell has allowed me to make my bills every month, so no worries there.\u00c2\u00a0 But when my day job asks me for patience, after some 8 or 9 months of waiting on a “thing”, I begin to wonder how much longer I can be patient.<\/p>\n Despite the day job, my Camera Fund has recently doubled, due to an extraordinary find outside the supermarket.\u00c2\u00a0 Yes, I now have 68 cents, leaving only $1,999.32 remaining!\u00c2\u00a0 I love<\/strong> progress!<\/p>\n Despite fears and reports and suggestions and possibilities, still no sign of snow in Florida, and I don’t expect that to change.<\/p>\n DarkFluidity Live this month is actually DarkFluidity Love!\u00c2\u00a0 (There is good love.\u00c2\u00a0 There is bad love.<\/em>)\u00c2\u00a0 Hope you can join us!<\/p>\n In the coming week: Valentine’s Day, Chinese New Years, President’s Day, Fat Tuesday, Ash Wednesday, an anniversary of something good, an anniversary of something bad, a co-worker’s birthday, DarkFluidity Love, and little else of note.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
