{"id":68,"date":"2008-12-21T23:41:33","date_gmt":"2008-12-22T03:41:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.darkfluidity.com\/?p=68"},"modified":"2008-12-21T23:41:33","modified_gmt":"2008-12-22T03:41:33","slug":"self-portrait","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.darkfluidity.com\/?p=68","title":{"rendered":"Self Portrait"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So, the idea is simple, and admittedly not original: 365 days, starting now, a new self portrait daily.<\/p>\n<p>Multiple reasons.\u00c2\u00a0 One is to play with the camera.\u00c2\u00a0 Another is to play with Photoshop.\u00c2\u00a0 Another is to get more comfortable in front of the lens.\u00c2\u00a0 (Don&#8217;t ask why.\u00c2\u00a0 There&#8217;s no real reason.)<\/p>\n<p>(An added bonus, of course, is to follow my physical progress over the course of the next 12 months, as I attempt to improve myself.\u00c2\u00a0 (My attempts at self-improvement will not be limited to physical improvement, or learning more about photography and Photoshop&#8211;I&#8217;m in a place and at a time from which I can work on everything and all of me, so feel free to offer encouragement or congratulations if you see any noticeable improvements as I go.)<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t promise to post daily, only to take the photo daily; some days (next weekend, for instance), I simply won&#8217;t be home.\u00c2\u00a0 But I&#8217;ll always have the camera.\u00c2\u00a0 Or <strong>a<\/strong> camera.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Day 1\" title=\"Day 1\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3211\/3126453421_45a81e90be.jpg?v=0\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>So, the idea is simple, and admittedly not original: 365 days, starting now, a new self portrait daily.
