Another abbreviated weekend comes to an end.<\/p>\n

I saw two films this weekend, The Expendables<\/span>, which was a decent, mindless action adventure thing, and Scott Pilgrim versus the World<\/span>, which started a bit slowly but eventually built up into something incredible.<\/p>\n

Both left me wondering a few things:<\/p>\n

The Expendables<\/span>: Who did all the artwork in Sandra’s truck, and where can I get me some of that?\u00c2\u00a0 Oh, and why do filmmakers insist on quick-cutting, shaky-cam, close-up camera work during the fight scenes?\u00c2\u00a0 I can’t see a damn thing.\u00c2\u00a0 (I specifically mean the one-on-one stuff.)<\/p>\n

Scott Pilgrim<\/span>: Should I read the comics?\u00c2\u00a0 The fight scenes in Scott Pilgrim were clear and easy to see, interestingly choreographed, and fun.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
