The photo was taken during a walk through the woods. I used a Nikon d80 that does not belong to me; I’ve already returned it, unharmed.

It’s amazing, how you can sometimes feel like you’re making excellent progress and also going absolutely nowhere at the same time.
I played with the idea of taking the B&W part and blurring it, but decided against.
Would you call this abstract?
If you find yourself trapped within winter’s frigid embrace.
If you can see your breath at high noon.
If you have shoveled snow.
If you have been snow-blinded.
If you have suffered hypothermia or frostbite.
If the icicles haven’t even begun to shed their tears.
Then to you, I offer this glimpse of sunny Florida.
