I’m not entirely sure what I saw, so here’s the evidence (clues?) I’ve discovered on my camera, including a shot of the newly christened grandmaster of horror, Brian Keene and a Stephen King lover outside of Powell’s.
Over 9 months ago, I had a heart attack, and I have not shaved since. I’ve used a trimmer. I’ve kept it neat. But today, with much needless ceremony, I took a new razor and new shaving cream, and scraped my face clean.
(Also, I’ve recovered nicely and have lost a great deal of weight and […]
After the big shoot with 20+ models and multiple locations and changes of clothes and makeup and such, I went back to the same boutique for a solo shot with the proprietor, shown here. We were indoors for this portion of the shoot, but I used the natural light coming through the big windows at […]

I’ve actually done a few more cabaret shoots, as well, all one after the other, so I was able to capitalize on the things I learned immediately. Strixx and […]
However, I don’t think it fits the theme as well.
I’ve done four Cabaret themed shoots already, so you will be seeing more. You might call that my mini-challenge for January (even though I did start with a self portrait). After a few of these, I’ll be switching to some inanimate objects and playing more heavily […]
The King in his Domain
And the 2011 Portrait Project is complete.
This is Portrait 51.
That means all three photography projects have posted 51 images.
That means, on Friday and Saturday, I’ll be posting the final pictures for each of the three projects: the self portraits, the portraits, and the third project.
It also means Sunday starts the new projects. One photography project: Lights. One writing project: 12-in-12. That’s […]
