Not Your Typical Wedding

During the ceremony, which was not typical by any standards, I stood beside the bride as her Bridesman.  That meant, for a little while, I had the ring.  Yes, there were rings.  That’s about as much as this wedding had in common with any wedding you’ve likely attended.

As part of the ceremony, guests were given a chance to utilize flash paper, to write either something they wanted to be rid of, or a hope or dream or well-wish or whatever, and cast it off in a blaze of glory.  Like so:

Later, I burned down all of Seattle, but you would've seen that in the news, right?
