I’m fast approaching the end of the 365-days project. We’re in the last quarter. The finish line is practically in sight. Which leaves the question: What next, hot shot?
I’ll take a short amount of time off from the photo projects at the end of December, when the 365 concludes, and begin with the new year. There’ll be two projects running simultaneously. First, another 365 day project; instead of self portraits, I’ll be focusing on color. The second will be a 52 week project, and will incorporate a lot of the skills I’ve learned over the course of this project as well as give me an opportunity to develop other skills. I’ll be working with people.
In the meantime, there’s still much writing to be done, including much more of Midnight, as well as this young adult fantasy thing that’s been taking me forever. There’ll be another 6 Nights at Midnight in October. I had a lot of fun with that, and the repsonse was unequivocally positive. (If you meant to say something more critical, now’s your chance; send me an e-mail, or a message, or a comment, or if you have my number, give me a call.)
I have three Midnight novellas (and/or one novel) to complete.
I have a busy fourth quarter ahead of me, don’t I? Anything I’m missing that you think I ought to be doing? I’m always open to suggestions. It was a suggestion that led to the 52 week project for 2010.
