This week, I’ll be examining this statue. It sits on the grounds of the Ringling Museum in Sarasota, Florida, and was inspired by an 1895 novel by Henryk Sienkiewicz.
That statue, in turn, inspired my story, “The Girl and The Bull”, posted earlier this month as part of my April challenge to write a new short story every day. It, and all the stories, can be found at here.
