This started life as a real photo of real stars in a real sky. It happened to be the most amazing, star-filled sky I’ve ever seen in my life, which is an incredible place to start. A 30 second exposure means the camera sees even more than the eye. Then I played and played and played…and channeled my inner Van Gogh. Did you know I had an inner Van Gogh?
