When I first moved to Florida, I saw a bumper sticker that posed an interesting question: "If it’s called Tourist Season, why can’t we shoot ’em?"
I try not to be a tourist when I go places. I visit, and I try to learn, and I experience things, but I don’t ever want to be the loud, obnoxious, overbearing idiot who makes a spectacle of himself.
On the other hand, I usually have a camera with me.
I guess it could be safely argued that sometimes, I should be a spectacle.
